Студенты и преподаватели английского языка естественнонаучных направлений приглашают на массовый научный праздник PopSciFest 2024.
Приглашаем всех желающих на PopSciFest - фестиваль науки и английского языка, который проводится кафедрой английского языка в сфере научной коммуникации (ФИЯ), Биологическим институтом, Физико-техническим, Физическим и Химическим факультетами в сотрудничестве и при поддержке Школы нескучного доклада и Центра "Гранит науки" ТГУ.
Мероприятие пройдёт 25 апреля 2024 года в 14.30 в Танцевальном зале ЦК ТГУ.
В рамках мероприятия пройдёт Science Slam баттл на английском языке. Пять восходящих звёзд науки, студентов 1-2 курсов БИ, ФТФ, ФФ и ХФ сойдутся в дружеском интеллектуальном поединке, просто, доступно и оригинально представят естественнонаучные доклады и продемонстрируют блестящее знание английского языка.
Но и это ещё не все! Именно здесь будут названы победители англоязычной секции “Dive into Science: Wondering, Observing, and Exploring the Essence of Nature” научной студенческой конференции БИ «Старт в науку», совместной конференции ФТФ и ФФ “Launch yourself into Physics”, а также “Feel the Chemistry: Mix, React, Inspire” ХФ, которые традиционно проходят в формате коротких научно-популярных видеороликов уже на протяжении нескольких лет.

Students and teachers of English in natural sciences invite you to the massive scientific festival PopSciFest 2024
We invite you to attend PopSciFest, a festival of science and English, hosted by the Department of English in Science Communication (Faculty of Foreign Languages), the Biological Institute, and the Faculties of Physics and Engineering, Physics, and Chemistry in collaboration and with the support of the School of Non-Boring Report and the TSU Granite Science Center.
The event will be held on April 25, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. in the TSU Dance Hall.
During the event Science Slam Battle in English will be held - five rising stars of science, undergraduate students from the Biological Institute, the Faculty of Physics and Engineering, the Faculty of Physics, and the Faculty of Chemistry will meet in a friendly intellectual duel to present scientific reports in a simple, accessible and creative manner and to demonstrate a brilliant knowledge of the English language.
But that's not all! Right there, we will announce the winners of the English section "Dive into Science: Wondering, Observing, and Exploring the Essence of Nature" of the scientific student conference "Start into Science" organized by The Biological Institute, the joint conference of the Faculties of Physics and Engineering and the Faculty of Physics "Launch yourself into Physics", as well as "Feel the Chemistry: Mix, React, Inspire" held at the faculty of Chemistry, which are traditionally held in the format of short popular science videos.
